Our Help in the Kenyan Community

Here are just a few images that we have taken in our many visits to Kenya. As you will see, the quality of the people's lives has dramatically improved, thanks to the kind donations of our supporters, but to be able to carry on doing this work, we need your help.

At Styal Prison, the inmates volunteered to make mosquito nets. 700 were made, and thanks to them, thousands of children's lives were saved A trench was dug for the water pipe, from the road side up to the first homestead, a distance of 950 metres It was an unbelievable job that took 6 days, but the results were worth it The Kanani area needs a primary school, as they only have one little classroom for nursery children. The old children if they are lucky enough to have a uniform have a 4/5 mile walk to school With The Paper Chase Trusts help, these children can now go to school, and they look a lot happier then before Two bicycles were donated by the Runcorn Rotary Club. They will be used for carrying drinking water
Two much needed classrooms were built. The donors were the Grange Comprehensive School, Runcorn The Paper Chase Trust in the News Eddy and the Assistant Chief of the Gede Location, also a member of the Charity giving much needed clothing out to families A 40ft container full of medical equiptment and supplies These children would love to go to school, and although the primary school, books and pencils are free, they still have to have a uniform, but the parents have no money Supporting Gede Polytechnic; this is where children from the street are trained in various skills. If we need to have a school desk made we always go to the Polytechnic as the funds from the desks helps another child come off the streets
